BDD is proud to have designed the identity and promotional material for the Art Institute of Vancouver’s highly anticipated ARTimation Media Festival. Cold Weather, Hot Chocolate!
BDD is helping to spread the word about the perfect way to warm up this winter - with a delicious hot chocolate from Blenz. BDD recently designed the in store posters for the Canadian coffee retailer to promote this intensely chocolate-y flavored drink, which is made by melting real chocolate chunks with fresh milk. Mmmm chocolate.

BDD bringing art to the masses
BDD is very excited to be working with the Toronto International Art Fair to develop the creative concept, website, collateral, and advertising materials for the 2008 exhibition. This highly anticipated annual event showcases contemporary artwork from galleries around the world and offers a venue where artists, professionals, and aficionados alike can indulge and engage in their passion.
BDD Bombay Bound...
BDD just helped launch Vancouver's first Indian Bistro, developing an identity and brand experience that reflects the stylish new eatery’s unique combination of classic Indian heritage and modern, fun atmosphere. In addition to the identity and promotional collateral, BDD designed the restaurant centerpiece, a 6 by 28 foot long mural weaving the story of the food’s tradition and authenticity.
Where creativity goes to school
BDD has been working with Vancouver’s Art Institute to launch the new campaign for ”Where creativity goes to school.” Transcending everything from program guides, bus and print ads, to posters and tradeshow booths, each element of the campaign is designed to promote AI’s intense focus on creating the best environment for young, eager students to learn and explore their creativity while learning from the best in the industry.
Doing The Steve Nash
BDD is hashing out some plays with the Steve Nash Sportsclub, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. This new 38,500 square foot upscale fitness facility has state-of-the-art equipment, a professional roster of personal trainers, personal flat screen monitors on cardio equipment, a Steve Nash Nike Pro shop, a juice bar and an eco-friendly workout space. Get your game face on.
Parasuco Street Team at Pride Parade
BDD, The Kirk Group and Parasuco were at this year’s annual Pride Parade on Davie Street. With BDD behind the lens, the Parasuco Street Team took over Denman Street, getting the crowd loud and proud.
Singin' The Blues
BDD and Tourism Burnaby were at the annual Blues and Roots Festival in Deerlake Park this weekend. Festival go-ers flooded the BDD-designed tent, posing for free pictures and entering a contest to win a chance to relive their ultimate Burnaby experience - it was the event’s hotspot of the day!
Committed To Cascadia
Congratulations to Brady Dahmer, who recently joined the Cascadia Forum –- one of the leading organizations for young, local business leaders -- as a committee member. Brady will be helping develop and execute the marketing strategy for this quickly expanding professional speakers group.

Skins on Skins
BDD and Telus ring in the annual Telus World Skins tournament this year in Toronto with dynamic onsite event graphics for the tournament and parties. The “winner-take-all” competition is lively for both the players and guests alike -- and was, as always, a smashing success.
Bring It On
BDD and the City of Burnaby sure know how to bring it –- especially with the debut the Tourism Burnaby campaign, “Bring it to Burnaby”. Aimed at bringing businesses into the beautiful – and spirited -- municipality to conduct meetings and promote entrepreneurship, the BDD-conceptualized promowork was essential at a recent major sales conference held to entice the event industry.
Penny Lover
BDD and the Penny King are flat-out excited to roll out the company’s debut marketing campaign and website. The Penny King distributes specially engineered pressed penny machines that turn one-cent coins into perfect souvenirs for the taking -- perfect for local businesses closely connected to the tourism sector.

BDD and Namaste know the importance of working on posture – and on improving the yoga website for viewers, as well as for students of leading Canadian yoga teachers, Kate Potter. It is now more user-friendly and easy to navigate for all those who click on the site and wish to be yoga-fied. Namaste!

BDD raises a toast with Chachkas to create a clever, eye-catching invite – featuring the store’s fictional muse Anna -- for their Girls’ Night Out event. Ever charitable, Chachkas will donate 15% of all the evening’s sales proceeds toward the fight against breast cancer.

BDD is consulting for another year with the highly successful Twin Berry Farms on their product packaging and print promotions. Helping them build out their Goodberry and make-a-wish programs. BDD and Blenz shake things up with their launch of the Blenz early summer Shaken Iced Tea campaign. Shaken – not stirred – is exactly how 007 preferred his drink and so will Blenz fans across the nation once they take a sip of this light, thirst-quenching beverage.

BDD and Gateway Securities worked together to build a brand new company website, launched just in time for Gateway’s move into new offices. Gateway Securities, a top-producing Vancouver financial firm, solidifies an already stellar reputation with this modern site for all existing and potential clients.
JML Goes Online
BDD and JML Trading traded ideas for creating a new website for their leading manufacturing, importing and exporting business for quality textiles, clothing trims and garments in North American and Asian markets. Some of their high profile clients include mega performance apparel company Sugoi and Please Mum.

We have been working with Eugen from the Eugen Klein Group at naming different developments in Dawsons Creek. We were naming and re-naming 5 different developments. Stay tuned to hear what the names picked were.
VTA 2006 Biggest Yet!
Brady Dahmer Design, official sponsor, would like to congratulate the commitee, volunteers and winners of The 17th Annual Vancouver Tourism Awards. They were distributed at The Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver to a host of over 650 guests, the most attended to date.
Not Fit For Print - Toronto
We proudly sponsored the greatly successful photo exhibition - not fit for print - during L’Oreal Fashion Week.
The exhibition, mounted at The Drake Hotel, featured over 25 unpublished works from top Canadian fashion photographers shooting the best of Canadian fashion. Brady Dahmer Design created and executed the event that helped raised over $2200 for the charity “Kids Up Front” with help from sponsors like, Harmony Airways, The Opus Hotel and Lindt Chocolate.

New Addition
In the past few weeks we have been looking for the latest member of the
BDD family and we found him. We recently hired Nick Pons to join the
team. We are excited about his talent and enthusiasm.
Back to School
Brady is teaching at the Art Institute twice a week where he instructs
graphic design students in design history and art direction. Brady is
enjoying going back to school as a teacher, revenge is sweet...
She Said Yes
Sarah and Gord got engaged at the end of June the day after they moved
into their new house in North Vancouver. They haven't yet set a date but
are sure to have Nearly Neil at the reception. Rock on Neil!

Dr Peter Centre
BDD designed a poster 'Meditations on Compassion' for the 25th
Anniversary depicting different coloured backgrounds with AIDS ribbons.
The poster will be showcased at the Buschlen Mowatt Gallery August 4th.

BDD are now proud members of Retail BC. Upon joining, Brady gave a
presentation members on June 6th lecturing on the importance of internal
and external retail branding and marketing.

Blueberries are in season and BDD has designed packaging and marketing
collateral for twin berry farms that makes you want them all year round.

BDD have recently become approved consultants for the BDC, offering
branding strategies and marketing solutions to growing companies.
Diamond Ball
On behalf of the BC Cancer Foundation BDD produced and directed
testimonial video that was presented at the Diamond Ball, a fund raiser
held at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, April 1st 2006.
BCLDB
While gearing up for summer BDD created the promotional production of
Cool Collection. This campaign entices customers to the refreshing line
of beverages available for summer. This fresh promotion can be seen at
the liquor store.
Vancouver Sculptural Biennale
Education is the primary mandate of the Biennale. BDD produced an
educational brochure for students throughout BC to teach them about the
philosophy of education and engagement through sculpture. This piece
indicated the importance of sculpture in an urban environment.
